During our previous lesson on literature, we learned about Macbeth act 1, scene 2. It is about King Duncan meeting the captain who explained to him about what had happened during the war. Macbeth fought with Macdonwald and won the war . Macdonwald was the 1st enemy. Then came a new enemy, a Norwegian king. Again, Macbeth won the war. Then they signed a treaty to let them bury their men and they have to pay ten thousand dollars.
I learned from Miss Malyanah that we should never disrespect nor dishonour anyone, not even our enemies. Even after a war, we should allow the defeated side to bury their men. That is a form of respect.
I would like to learn more about Macbeth. For example, are there more things that we can learn from the story of Macbeth? Are there other sides of story on Macbeth? Is there any stories on Macbeth that is told in many different ways from all around the world?
