Dear Diary,
I am in love with my own best friend, Derrick! It is as if everything the old lady had said was true. Remember the old lady I told you about? Let me tell you about it again.
I was waiting for the bus at the bus stop alone late at night after the last minute project at my friend's house. There was this old lady with a hunchback and long black hair which seems like she had not been brushing it for years, walked pass me. She kept staring at me and I find her really weird. Out of a sudden, she called my name! I was flabbergasted. How did she know my name? Is she a freaky old psychic or something? She then went up to me asked for my palm. With hesitation, I lifted my hand and she studies my palm with full concentration. I was simply afraid and was trembling. I kept asking myself, what the heck is she doing? Her words are still fresh in my mind. She told me in her very deep, serious voice, "Sabrina, there will be this new guy in your school by the name of Derrick. You two will be best friends, fall in love and get married with two children." She then showed me a serious look and walked away.
Boy, was she really freaky! I kept thinking about it though. Is it true? Or is it some kind of joke like in Gags For Laugh? I am not really sure. But as the years goes by, I realise that what the old lady said is true! Derrick was the new kid in my school and we started chatting and became really best friends and now, I have this feeling for him call love! I really do not know what to do. Should I tell him about what the old lady said and that it is happening? Or should I just let things happen naturally? I guess, I should not make him think i am insane and just wait for things to happen naturally. Okay, I got to go now. Derrick is here. We are going to watch a movie together! Write to you soon!
Love,
Sabrina

Literature 13/1/11
Yesterday's literature lesson was full of fun and laughter! First, each row will have to come up with a group name and they are "Anything?", "Nothing Nothing Nothing...", "No-thing?!" and "Got that thing!". Haha ! Each group will have to read about William Shakespeare and come up with a few questions to ask another group and if that group answers correctly, they will get 5 points.
I learned more about William Shakespeare in a really fun way and I loved it! We should do more of this fun group games and learn something at the same time (:

Monday! 6.11pm! 10/1/11!
Today, during literature, I learned about CINQUAIN and HAIKU. Cinq is 5 in French thus Cinquain consists of five lines while Haiku consists of 3 lines.
CINQUAIN -
1st line : 1 Noun/Topic
2nd line : 2 Adjectives
3rd line : 3 Gerunds [e.g. running, walking]
4th line : 1 short complete sentence
5th line : synonym
In class , I wrote a Cinquain about myself. Here's how it goes.
I really enjoyed the lesson. It was really fun writing a Cinquain as there are no right or wrong and you can be as creative as you can be.
I want to learn or practice writing a Haiku and i guess it is as fun as writing a Cinquain. Thanks for the AWESOME lesson miss Mal (:
