In my opinion, having mixed race couple gives an impact and emphasize that even couples of different races can love each other very much. I does not matter what race you are when it comes to love. Having different races makes it more unique and different.
2. Why she concentrate on the bad traits?
Well, since everyone else talked about how great he was, she wanted to say something different so that they can realise and learn something from it. She makes me realise that all these imperfection just makes them perfect in their own ways. These imperfections makes you love them more and that these are the imperfections that you will miss when they are gone. She gives an impact and made the audience realise these as they cried upon hearing it.
3. Do you think it is effective to promote family values?
Yes, I think it really is effective to promote family values. This advertisement teaches me about how strong your love for your family could be despite their imperfections. Even though her husband is not there beside her alive, he will always be in her heart forever. These made me realise that we have to treasure our loved ones before they are gone.

About my favourite character ...
My favourite character from a Malay drama called "Pensil" is Badrul. He is not like any other normal human being. He is handicapped and just because of that, everyone ill-treated him. He lived in a kampung with his stepmother after his birth father died from an accident. He is a very patient guy as even though his neighbours ill-treated him and steal his money, he did not hate them at all. He is hardworking as he is really keen to work and even after he lost his job, he still want to find a job to get money for his mother despite the fact that he is handicapped. He is great at drawing and is determine of his ambition of being an artist. He is very faithful to his stepmother even though his stepmother abuse him, hate him and say hurtful things to him like, "why didn't you die instead of your father!" He love to help others despite his condition.
I am similar to him in a way of being hardworking, determined and faithful . I am determined of my future which is to work hard and get a good job so that I can have the money to travel around the world. I am faithful to my mother . I love her no matter what . However , his level of patience is higher than mine. I guess if I was the one being him, being ill-treated by everyone, I would have given up. He is my idol. He doesn't care about the fact that he is handicapped, being ill-treated, abused and hated by his stepmother, he still works hard for what he wants and never hated anyone.

Unseen Poems (:
Unseen poems are something new to me. Its is really interesting but it is quite difficult for me. It is hard to understand as you have to read in between the lines and my vocabulary is not so good thus I have some difficulty to understand it totally. We learn different literary devices which I can identify them but I find it challenging to comment and describe about it. However, reading unseen poems are fun as it makes you feel what the character is feeling and thus it makes you want to read more.

Romeo and Juliet (:
Most people would share on their blogs saying that everything is fine, everyone cooperate, there is good teamwork and so on. Well, I don't think that is exactly the truth that is happening in my group some of the time. At the start of this Romeo and Juliet play, I was kind of excited for it as I thought it would be lots of fun. It is fun when everyone cooperates with each other. However, not everyone I'm my group does that. Some people are always texting, gossiping and slacking one corner while the rest of us, unfortunately, have to do all the work. In the end, those who have done nothing but only do the acting gets all the credits. I truly think that is really unfair to those who did most of the work. When we talk to them or tell them to do work they will dislike it or not do it properly nor seriously. I think that is normal in all groups but it is just unfair.
That's the problem. The good thing is that we are done with the costumes and most of the props. We have many meetings for practicing of acting and all. The acting, I must say that everyone did improve on that since the first time we practiced together. Just maybe a little more improvement to make it better. Most of us in my group, including myself, have stage fright, so we together have to try to overcome that. We have planned the movements on stage and props, but we kind of have to work on it a little. Same goes with the background music which we have to think of better ways so that Cheryl don't have to learn 4 new songs.
In this Romeo and Juliet, I learn that teamwork, cooperation, sacrifices and communication really is important. Without these, everything will not go on smoothly. There will always be problems, but we have to work on it together. I hope that our hard work will pay off and that everything will go right on the actual day. This is important to us as it takes up 70% of our literature end of year examination.

Macbeth is a play about a guy meeting three witches who told him that he was going to be the king. He was shocked and told his wife about it. His wife was greedy and influenced Maceth to kill King Duncan so that he can be king quicker. Macbeth went to kill King Duncan and he then became the king. People found out the truth that Macbeth killed King Duncan thus many wanted and tried to kill him. Macbeth's wife committed suicide. The three witches then met Macbeth again. They told him that a guy who was not of "women born" will kill him . The guy who was not of "women born", Macduff, who was “untimely ripped” from his mother’s womb, killed Macbeth. The theme of Macbeth is about greed, honour, power and revenge.
My favourite character is King Duncan. He is very kind as he always praises others like how he praised the Captain, "So well thy words become thee as thy word; They smack of honor both" and Macbeth "Worthy gentleman!". He is caring to as he wanted to know about the war and the conditions of the soldiers like when he asked if Banquo and Macbeth were frighten.
From the story of Macbeth, I learned how ambition and greed can overpower morality and human nature. It teaches me not to be greedy and be happy with what you have and let nature take place by itself slowly and not force it to happen quick. That shows that we have to be patient too.

MACBETH
During our previous lesson on literature, we learned about Macbeth act 1, scene 2. It is about King Duncan meeting the captain who explained to him about what had happened during the war. Macbeth fought with Macdonwald and won the war . Macdonwald was the 1st enemy. Then came a new enemy, a Norwegian king. Again, Macbeth won the war. Then they signed a treaty to let them bury their men and they have to pay ten thousand dollars.
I learned from Miss Malyanah that we should never disrespect nor dishonour anyone, not even our enemies. Even after a war, we should allow the defeated side to bury their men. That is a form of respect.
I would like to learn more about Macbeth. For example, are there more things that we can learn from the story of Macbeth? Are there other sides of story on Macbeth? Is there any stories on Macbeth that is told in many different ways from all around the world?
Dear Diary,
I am in love with my own best friend, Derrick! It is as if everything the old lady had said was true. Remember the old lady I told you about? Let me tell you about it again.
I was waiting for the bus at the bus stop alone late at night after the last minute project at my friend's house. There was this old lady with a hunchback and long black hair which seems like she had not been brushing it for years, walked pass me. She kept staring at me and I find her really weird. Out of a sudden, she called my name! I was flabbergasted. How did she know my name? Is she a freaky old psychic or something? She then went up to me asked for my palm. With hesitation, I lifted my hand and she studies my palm with full concentration. I was simply afraid and was trembling. I kept asking myself, what the heck is she doing? Her words are still fresh in my mind. She told me in her very deep, serious voice, "Sabrina, there will be this new guy in your school by the name of Derrick. You two will be best friends, fall in love and get married with two children." She then showed me a serious look and walked away.
Boy, was she really freaky! I kept thinking about it though. Is it true? Or is it some kind of joke like in Gags For Laugh? I am not really sure. But as the years goes by, I realise that what the old lady said is true! Derrick was the new kid in my school and we started chatting and became really best friends and now, I have this feeling for him call love! I really do not know what to do. Should I tell him about what the old lady said and that it is happening? Or should I just let things happen naturally? I guess, I should not make him think i am insane and just wait for things to happen naturally. Okay, I got to go now. Derrick is here. We are going to watch a movie together! Write to you soon!
